Well, I farm with older tractors, and spring & fall I can put 12-16 hours in the varous seats a day, for as many days as it doesn't rain. Over plowed & bumpy fields. I find that if I eat a lot, it helps pad the seat somehow. Seriously (ok, the above does actually work, butt....) what kinda seat do you have, what tractor? Is the spring mechinism working, and did you adjust it for your weight? Do you have a seat pad on it? Dad started me out on a Ford 960 with a busted rubber torsion ring so the metal seat sat hard on the frame. No padding on the seat. I harrowed plowed ground for years that way. Can still feel the abuse on my spine. --->Paul
