Steering Problem

Does anyone know how to limit the turning radius of a tractor's steering? The tractor I own uses a worm gear and (I think) sector gear. There is no internal stop in the steering box. The sector gear goes too far when turning right and then binds at the bottom of the worm gear. This puts extreme stress on the steering shaft which I have snapped at the weld couping the worm gear to the shaft. I need to limit the travel of the sector gear so it does not go to the bottom of the worm gear and bind. One way would be to limit the steering linkage or components in a way that would restrict how much I can turn the tires therefore keeping the sector gear a save distance from the binding point. In case it matters, the tractor is a Belarus 250A. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.
