At risk of stupidity, what's the diff. bet. Ford 540A and 540B ?

I am searching for my first tractor. I looked at a Ford 540 Industrial tractor briefly and wanted to get more info on it. When I looked up manuals I see there is a 540A and a 540B. Whats the difference ? I am new on the tractor scene. I have worked on and rebuilt auto engines most my life. No diesels, unfortuneatly.
