The advice given is very accurate. I know of a case where the man spinning the crank got a broken arm. AC B,s can kick when wet or flooded.I used the one that broke the man's arm for 10 years and I never got hurt but it did kick back. Pull up on the crank and pull your arm away from the crank when the crank gets to the top. If the engine does not start, reset the crank and try again, if it floods shut off the gas, drain the carb, do not spin the crank to unflood the engine. Never wrap your thumb around the crank. Always have the brakes set when cranking.
