I like to run some open tractors in nice weather, but I don�t want to bale hay with open tractors anymore, too much dust. Most days there is too much dust, too hot , too cold , too many bugs, or too windy to be comfortable for very long on open tractors. If you are going to ride a tractor for 1,000 hours a year, you need to be comfortable and have weather protection, or you will soon be sick of working out doors. My advice would be to find a more modern tractor with a good factory cab. JD led the way with the sound guard cabs, and cabs just get better.
