My first cab was on a 1977 Ford 7700 we got in 1980.
They were of the first era of �good� cabs so I guess I was spoiled farming. :)
In general I don�t care for a cab in normal summer weather, for a planter tractor I prefer by a lot the cables tractor. Even baling I will grab the cables one despite some dust. Even snow blowing, I use my small cables loader tractor because it�s so nimble and I have the loader right there with it, and I�m always in the yard can pop in the house to warm up 5 minutes of I need to.
But a day like today, the high got to 2 I believe, well then if I had to run a tractor, I would want a cab.... and the lomg days of tillage in early spring or late fall the cab sure is nice.
