KEG: You didn't say how old, but I will assume you meant 1950s or 60s vintage. You could look at: Oliver s55 --- 34hp Oliver 550 --- 40hp AC D10/D12 --- 30 hp AC D15 ------- 40 hp IHC 300U ----- 40 hp IHC 340 ------ 32 hp MH 50 -------- 32 hp MF 35 ------- 33 hp These tractors should cost $2000-$4000, depending on location and condition---about what a Ford N series would cost, but delivering a better tractor than an N series Ford. With AC or IHC you might need to adapt the tractor to 3 point hitch. John Deere tractors would be good too, but 420/430/440/ tractors are sought after collector models, and a 1010 should be avoided except for "collector" use. A 1020 would be excellent, but would cost a lot more than the other tractors. More models of interest: IHC f504 IHC 350u MM 335 MM 445 Case 430 Case 530 Oliver s44 John Deere 50 John Deere 40 MF 135 AC one sixty Some of these tractors are as new as 1970, some as old as 1952.

The Marshall company based at the Briannia Works in Gainsborough
