I had one for 10-15 years. If they are left factory they where not that much of a Horse. Factory stock my IH 1466 that is factory stock would walk away from it. I then put a turbo and intercooler on it. Tuned the injection pump up and then it would walk the dog. Pulled a 25 foot JD 235 disk with cone blades at 6.5 MPH. You could knock out 15 acres an hour. That seemed like you where flying.
Now the JD 8330 pulling a 47 ft. finisher knocks out 40 acres an hour.
The JD 5020 was a brute. Even the JD 6030 that replaced it was rude and crude on the operator. You knew you had been doing some thing if you ran it all day.
