Bernhard, I have never heard of switching back tires to change from tilling to cultivation. The row crop tractors here have the ability to slide the rear wheels on the axle to change the tread width, to make them fit the planter width. I think your tillage and plant population is so much more dense in europe that this (swapping wheels) would be advantageous for you there. John in Nebraska.
