Good friend of mine has a salvage yard near me,also buy scrap.There is a camera on the scales that takes a video of the driver,license plate,load on the truck etc.When you come into the office for the check they photo copy your drivers license.He makes it very clear he does not want any stolen scrap and he'll cooperate with the police.
