We bought this house in 1982. It was build in '69 in what then was a rural area, no city codes. For the most part it is well built - except the plumbing, both supply and drain. I have found galvanized fittings connected to copper and lousy soldering, all by way of leaks. It appears the drain lines are too flat for good flow to the septic tank. But I am not moving! I'd have to pack with a front end loader. Merry and Happy! P.S. My late wife dropped her wedding ring in the shower and it went down the slotted grate. i got it out using the shop vac with a smaller extension tube. The grate is one with little round holes now.
