After working 22 years at last factory job, often six days or nights in a row, 12 hr shifts, lots of holidays, and almost every sunday, vacations were much anticipated. What did irk me was getting off at 7 am and coming by the local stores about 7:30 and seeing all the local farmers still gathered up drinking coffee, and just generally shooting the bull, and many of them would tell me how I had it made, having an easy factory job in town.
