I forgot to add one thing, Last year when I was out in the steam boat at an antique boat show the Coast Guard showed up to inspect all the old boats for life jackets etc. You should have seen the look on the officers face when I interupted him mid speech and said,"I will have to talk to you in a few minutes when I get my fire secured"!( I control the fire so the safety valve never has to pop open, it is easier on the boiler that way) After I explained why,while I was shutting down the draft etc, he understood! By the way , the boat passed the safety inspection and they had no other suggestions to add. (whew!)
