I collect Simplicity and A-C lawn and garden tractors and have runn across leaking tanks, I would recomend grinding a dull point on a piece of round steel or metal stock, and cut it short, then go to wal-mart of K-mart and pick up a pair of cheap pliers, then weld the round steel piece in the jaws of the pliers and then you can heat the round stock and then take solder and hold the hot part up to solder and fill in the holes, this is alot safer but do it briefly to keep it cool so there is no chance of explosian, I recomend the new "kreme" gas tank sealer, it works great, I hope you get your truck looking nice and running great, good luck with your project, -Brad Wies (DC-4 DUDE)
