Jim, I think the snowblower is out due to the
crushed stone surface, too hard on the blower and
anyone in the area. You can mount a PTO blower on
the front with a gearbox and shafts but you would
lose the PTO for your salt spreader. There are
hydraulic run blowers but I don't think your pump
on the 584 is heavy enough. I would get some lugs
welded in your present bucket and mount the plow
in the bucket. This would give you the option of
plowing or piling the snow by just removing a few
pins. I do this at my place and it works great.
You will need the chains and extra weight on the
rear but the sander should help there. Chains on
the front wheels do not help much in my opinion.
Make sure your plowblade is wide enough to clear
the rear wheels when it is angled, mine is 9 feet.
