My thoughts as well and once you start talking 60 HP in a gas tractor price-wise you are only a short jump away from an 80-90 HP tractor. An 806 or 856 or 1850 gas could be found for around 3500 dollars in good mechanical condition and maybe less with a little luck. If the tractor is getting used for maybe 10-20 hours per month for maybe 6-8 months then the gas usage is tolerable. If the tractor is getting run 8 hours per day 20 days per month then he will tire of the gas consumption for any gas tractor versus a diesel.
