Fiat built tractors ---HELP!

I own a 1250 Oliver diesel that was built by Fiat. It has been a pretty good tractor but now has a bad starter. It has a 24 volt electrical system which I want to change over to 12 volt anyways, but I can't find a starter for it. I can't find even the original 24 volt starter for that matter. I know that Fiat made tractors for several companies such as Oliver, Allis Chalmer, Long and some others. My question is this, Does anyone know of a starter from ANY other tractor or equipment that would fit this tractor? The wiring doesn't matter, as long as it fits mechanically as I intend to put a 12 volt altenator on the tractor. thanks for any help.
