that is actually why my buddy and i went to the auction. but looking around, depending on what was wrong with the motor you could spend a TON of $ trying to get that orphan Romanian motor going so we had a $200 top price. it started at $200. nearly new rear tires, fronts were shot, it had been sitting long enough the tires were green. hydraulic system had been cobbled up with a remote spool valve instead of the factor valve/lever bolted to the fender.
was probably worth $250 for scrap and then sell the rear tires for whatever you could get IF the motor was too far gone.
on a side note i should have bid on a PTO on one of the wagons and one of the hay wagons that sold for $150.
