There is really no easy to tell if it is serious or not. Only experience can tell you that. To get that experience,you're going to need a lot of 'practice'.If it's stuck,odds are strong it will need a complete overhaul.That means MONEY,lots of it.You might get lucky,but usually not. If it's free but not running,it may need only a battery,carb clean up,tune up,etc. Or more.....includeing an overhaul. Happy tractoring.Go get em!!
