we had a 2805 that John Deere had and when they put it back together it was bad we bought it CHEEP and rebuilt the transmission with all the updates at the time ran that tractor for over 15,000 hr problem free and yes it was a 24 speed after we sold it it ran for 3 or 4 years and burnt in a shed fire. i sure did like that tractor pulled like hel- and sounded sweet
