Yep, the load tie-down was what stood out to me. And I don't haul stuff.
I remember going down the interstate this summer and was passed by a pick-up truck with a lone sheet of drywall bouncing up and down in the bed... I back off in a hurry. About 200 yards up ahead, the drywall flys up and out of the bed and hits the pavement, cartwheels a few times and then drops flat. The guy never even taps his brake or slows down.
My other excitement this year was a utility truck and trailer with dualies... About 200 yards up ahead of me, one of the wheels became detached and was rolling down the interstate, right about in the middle of two lanes. Fortunately I went to the right and the guy near me went to the left, and everybody in my mirror avoided the rolling tire and it started to head for the ditch.
