Not sure if I'm reading your post correctly. Did you say that the water in the block did freeze and damaged the block? Not that it matters now but filling the cylinders with oil wouldn't have much effect one way or the other on the water freezing and damaging the block. I guess my question is ..... is the block damaged (like broken out) other than the pistons being frozen up inside the cylinders?
