Four weeks ago, daughter brought two chiwawa doggies over. We had to put down due to old age and incontinence. They were making her house unlivable. Two weekends ago, we had the grandkids Friday to Sunday, and Saturday, son-in-law brought oldest boy's cavy (guinea pig) who died, needed burying. Oldest boy was devastated, and younger sisters were pretty sad as well. Last weekend we lost our dog. Had been here since he was a pup. Was 11 years old which translates to 72 people years. He was a pretty big dog, 78#, Lab-Shepherd-Husky mix. Wife just came in from feeding the goats and sheep, found Smiley the goat had died. She was one of our first goats, can't put an exact age on her, but probably 8 to 10 years. This digging is getting to me. Have a backhoe but attaching it to the tractor is a lot like work. Now to dig a grave for the goat.
