Very reliable and fuel efficient tractors. Watch for a lot of blowby from the engine as that will tell it's condition. Also crack the drain plug on the engine to see if there is antifreeze in there, they are over 40 years old and the o-ring seals can leak. Make sure it pulls good and trany ok pressure is good in all powershift gears and shifts are crisp without excessive lugging of the engine. Also make sure PTO, hyd, and steering work in all gears as that is an indication of trouble. If it's all good it will be a good tractor. I suggest changing fluids to make sure the trany has real case hytran in it, that will keep things good for a long time .
