Thanks Ron. Glad you get some amusement from the videos. Metal belt Melroe pickups were everywhere here when I was a kid but you don't see any of them now. Both mine are rubber belts with plastic teeth on the John Deere and the IH. Both good pickups. Had an old Sund on the 510 Massey and it was different but also a very good pickup.
Yes, I travel pretty slow compared to a lot of combines. I don't like to push the machinery too hard as long as the rotor/cylinder is running a good flow of material through. You should have seen me on that thin crop of oats though. Straight cutting, close to the ground at over 4 mph. No time for playing with a camera at that speed!
