Helped my buddy finish soybean harvest yesterday, we picked just under 100 acres for the day. Dryland beans were mostly above 50bpa, irrigated in some spots were running over 85bpa.
This was my rig for most of it, shuttling full gravity wagons to him to upload at the bin site, and empties back to his son in the combine. Most of the fields are within two miles of either a set of bins or their grain leg at the homestead.
BIG WINNER day for me, the last field to pick was the furthest from home, about ten miles, so ole' K got some miles in the semi! :)
Really rusty with the Eaton Fuller Super ten, especially on the downshifts :oops: But made it safely back, even with the grain leg being at the top of a steep hill.
