Exhaust manifold bolts breaking off yep it happens. I have not repaired them on a MH have a E350 van it was a all day event. I used OEM hardware you are looking at some expensive bolts/nuts I had $150/200 in hardware. I asked another shop if he had done one and where did he get the hardware he said Advance Auto the bolt nut kit per side was $12 :shock:
Because a van is captured (no fender well to go thru I had to do everything from the bottom the motor mounts were a beach to get off... I brought a kit from Promax to extract the broken bolts it was in the $600 range even then the broken bolts were a beach to drill out.
I will look later I think the bill was 11/12 hundred.
