Reminds me of a tale told by a Stihl salesman. These guys were cutting a log & the saw got stuck when the bar got pinched when nearly thru the log. So one guy said "I'll hold the log apart while you finish the cut". Put his fingers in the cut & spread the log. Sawyer starts the saw & it immediately kicks back, straight up, making all his fingers the same length.
