Reminds me of Southlake Texas 1981. Mountain lions were common around here back when I grew up 1968. They would migrate through stopping to rest,eat get water and sleep. Never bothered anyone so no one worried about them.
In 1981 the sheriff,game warden and county officials came out to assure everyone. There were no more mountain lions around. While they were assuring everyone the danger was over. A mother and her cub came out of the woods. Headed for the stock tank. I never laughed so hard in my life.People were running everywhere the game warden just stood there. All that cat was doing was what she had done for years. They did stop coming through part of Texas. Too many crazy humans around.
