Tore the 2 spd motor off truck Saturday, took it apart, hole in diaphragm just as we guessed.
I called the two local semi places, both were completely helpless, didn't think they could get such a thing. Napa was a no go as well.
We himmm'ed and haaaa'ed around for a little while, and I finally told dad I was going to try the tire tube fix.
Cut a big chunk out of a tube, stuck it in there, slapped it back together, RTV'd the SH!T out of everything, and put it back together!
Hauled 5 loads today, never missed a shift, engine idles a little better, and brakes even seem to work better?! I can't believe it worked...... Thanks guys!
