Have you checked for spark at the coil?
If no spark there, check for power to the + side of the coil to ground. Then on the - side the volts should pulse between near 0 and battery volts while cranking. (A test light or analog meter works best.) If this is happening, and no spark out of the coil, the coil is bad.
Also be sure the red wire from the coil + terminal to the module is connected, as well as the black wire to the - terminal.
Be sure the distributor is turning, the reluctor is passing by the pick up coil, the distributor housing is grounded and the pick up coil is mounted tight to the distributor.
If nothing obvious, give Pertronix a call, they have real live tech support and are willing to help.
