Finished trimming the hooves on my sheep today. I found two cases of foot rot. I rinsed the affected area with Hydrogen Peroxide and cut a larger opening in the wall to get more ventilation in the barn. The bedding is dry but the narrow area leaving the barn to the lot had a moist area. Figured opening that up might let the entrance dry out and hopefully the hooves dry out also. The root didn't spread to the actual hooves yet, just a nasty white mushy are between them.
Do you think this will work or am I just wasting time?
