I see your question: The person who has "notes/dates/times "of any conversations held, being they what you write....Perhaps I should of wrote " notes as accurate as you can at the time" of who said what..as the hours past a person tends to forget when putting things to paper.
If This went to a court or settlement judge, the more a person appears and acts in a calm professional manner, with notes,dates and times, e-mails, etc and has shown a civil effort to settle the situation, has a much better chance of being the winner.
And with e-mails that request a "viewers receipt", there is no argument of " I didn't get it", or a claim of the buyer not contacting the seller. As in Buyer be Aware....Buyer be Informed.
