First sife's dad repaired his own tires. When she was a teen, the large screw drivers he used to change em disappeared. Kids caught heck for messing with his tools. After we were married, I was home and he had a flat on his Ford 3000. I broke out my tools and helped him get it off the rim. found a couple of long screw drivers. One of them managed to get at a weird angle and punched into the sidewall enough to ruin the tube but not out the tire. Second wife was driving interstate near Wichita. She felt the car jerk, looked in the rear view and saw a deer rolling down the freeway. thought nothing of it until a few hours later the tire was flat. Had an antler point through the side wall. Pretty bad when you drive so slow the wildlife rear ends you.
