When I was a kid, repairing flats at my dads service station, a flat came in with a half pair of broken needle nose pliers in the tire.
A few days later another flat came in, with the other half of the pliers stuck in the tire!
Just recently my wife said something was making a strange noise in the car. I drove it a few feet and heard the noise, stopped, pulled out a broken pair of small needle nose pliers. The point went in at such an angle it was stuck only in the tread, didn't penetrate the belting!
