Statistically, 30,000 people die from the flu each year. many million are given without any problems. Anaphylactic shock is a very rare occurrance. I would worry getting anything else without an epi medication for immediate use. I carry 2 with me when I'm shooting. Did close to 600 a year plus military vaccinations without an incident. Did have a young lady fasting for a blood draw pass out and was ok when laid down for 2 minutes. It is the most given injectable medicine given in the USA.
