Hello I bought a 1150 with a perkins 503.8 liquid cooled V-8 510 16 valve 8.3 L diesel from a buddy of mine he said he rebuilt the lift pump with all new gears separated the tranny and put a new collet sleeve in . Before he did this the tractor was running fine but now the engine is locked doesn�t crank the starter clicks batteries good he said he thinks it�s a connecting rod how is that possible if the motor was shut down how do you blow a connecting rod ? is it possible that the lift pump reassembled the wrong way could be locking up the motor the front hydrolic pump is spinning freely so that�s not it . any ideas I�d really appreciate the help thank you Lars
