The vet made his second and last trip out today. He had to split the cast replace the gauze and reattached the cast with duct tape. The calf being so young and growing fast needed the cast loosened up. The calf is by a good bull and we lost the mother to a second round of milk fever after recovering the first time so the little girl is a bit extra special. She hasn�t had any health set backs yet so in two weeks the cast can be cut off again and she�s good to go. Lively little bugger kept getting out of her pen at first and had to be moved.
