I have been using one of my smaller tractor to fill in for my big ones that I have some repair work to do on,, the ground here was packed down Hard from the pounding storms we had this summer,, I hate using a disc this much but sweeps will slide on top too much when I get to the super packed areas and the weeds got out of hand as it was over 30 days before I could get things dry enough to work,, I am about 100hp short and 10,000 lbs lighter than I need to really put the big G series offset in the ground but the 970 works just fine for killing weeds and loosing up the crust cnt
