i would start with the park lock cams by the left brake pedal check to be sure one isnt out of place. next take off the panel between the clutch and brake pedal look for a roll pin out of place. i would also take off the cowling in front of the sreering wheel usualy not much goes wrong here but lubing the linkages is a good idea. next take up the platform pull the pin for the range lever if the lever moves then the problem is in the cover or transmission. sometimes rebuilding the cams and rollers needs to be done under the transmission cover.
