My dad had a shackle fail on a dragline crane (1/2 yard Insley) it came through the cab window, dented the rear engine panel, and coiled up inside the cab with him. missed his head by 8 inches. My rope wrapped on my jeep bumper is 1" nylon with little stretch. I do not snatch with it for fear of ripping the attachments off of the vehicle I attach to. Jim
