That brings back a memory, my wife used to have a silver VW Jetta that there were about a million of. Came out of my Mom's apartment one day and walked over to the car and hit the unlock button on the fob, no response. As I let out a string of hot lubricating words, figuring that there was no way we would be able to get into the car since the battery was dead or the car's electronics had failed, my wife came up and pointed out that our car was five spaces down :) :) :)
