No doctor should tell you that you are cancer free after 4 months! You have only established a baseline reading, have it checked every 3 months to make sure it doesn't go up. After surgery my psa dropped to undetectable (less than .02). After 16 months it started to go up and at around .2 I did 37 radiation treatments. It then went back down to undetectable after 6 months and has stayed there for 18 months now which is a good sign. You should not be ruled cancer free until you have 5 years of declining or undetectable psa.
