Well...I tried the ATF treatment on my David Brown 30c as recommended by old in the article on getting dead tractors running. It did lubricate the sleeves, but as the engine had been partially seized when I bought it, I made the decision to ditch the engine(and use it as parts) and put on a spare engine that I had picked up from awhile back. It was wonderful to be able to drive it for the first time in over 7 months! But the "new" engine's water pump has a leak! It pumps just fine, but there is 1 hole in the top and one underneath(in line with the belt pulley) plus the greasing stations. It is leaking out the bottom hole. Is that something that I can just plug up or would it just shoot out the top hole? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks, Joshua
