I first saw JG in the early fifties and it took over many farms and I once had a real problem with it but so many other weeds were hardier and crowded it out and now the replacement weeds and grass are the problem. I have had cows, hogs, goats and horses on JG fields and never had one die. Wild cherry leaves will do the same thing but I never had a problem as I always had plenty of pasture and hay that they had rather have. This was in Western TN.
