So many variables. For a regular light duty disk 14' with 20" blades will come very close to stopping the tractor if buried to the spools in bare soil. But if you are disking heavy tough corn stalks that won't let the disk go in the ground 14' will be an easy 4th gear load. I do know an R wont hardly know anything is back there if it pulls an old Deere RW 14' disk with 16" blades in corn stalks.
