Eldon,l will have to disagree with you. Rotary mowers do start fires, by striking rocks. When it's over 100 degrees the grass is about as dry as it can be. As I said, I have started three fires, with my mower. I would rather not chance another fire and do what the fire dept recommends, when it's hot, and not mow. I don't have that much work anyway. About every year someone starts a fire with a hand held mower with a metal blade, or a rotary tractor mower. Stan
