You think you can do your job by running thousands of acres, be my guest. Don't give me this garbage that feeding the growing population is my job. That's just Syngenta's tag line to sell nematacides. Frankly, I'd like to see the population shrink a fair bit. I'd rather see 1 or 2 billion happy healthy people than 7-10 billion fighting, struggling, starving people.
I sprayed GMO crops for hire for ten years. My knowledge is becoming fast outdated because I haven't been in the industry for 8 years, but I know more about spraying than most guys here. That isn't my idea of a good life.
