What is the surface area and volume of your pond? Your state's extension service may have recommendations for your area, or try some neighboring states.
Water pressure is approximately 1/2 PSI for every foot of depth. It takes more energy and money to pump air as pressure rises. You probably don't want to aerate from the deepest depth. Just deep enough to mix oxygen into the water. Fountains can be used for aeration in temperatures above freezing. Below freezing air pumps are used.
Fifty feet deep is pretty deep for a farm pond. I've been on a number of of mile diameter lakes that didn't exceed fifteen feet deep.
