S.S. retirement is govt. money so is SSI, SSDI, SNAP, HUD WIC. etc. Some of these programs the one recieving is required to pay in "X" amount to be eligible and some don't. And to realy kick the hornets nest here farm subsidies are also govt. money. Before discuss who is cashing the govt check we need to better define what welfare is.
